Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • The submission is dealing with research or education in the planning domain.
  • The submission file is preferably submitted as PDF file, free from typos and other errors.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The font size and spacing makes it the document easy to read; illustrations, figures, and tables are referenced where possible.
  • You will insert correct publication dates in metatags.
  • The submission doesn't mix up multiple languages or scripts in metatags.
  • Language of metadata (especially title and abstract) are equal to the language than the language of the article full text.
  • Avoid discrepancies between metadata and galley when it comes to author name formatting (e.g. Given Name and Family Name format and capitalization).
  • List authors in the same order in the metatags and the uploaded document.
