Planning for just and sustainable urban regions, Paris, 8-12th July 2024The education of future urban planners and architect has been exposed to various global trends which influence our environment. Nowadays, the imperatives embedded into the 2030 Agenda, the European Green Agenda and the New European Bauhaus (NEB) represent a starting point for the preferred green transition which should contribute to the sustainable urban future. The University of Belgrade - Faculty of Architecture has been strengthening the environmental dimension on all levels of studies, and this paper will focus on the case of the Master program in Architecture_ Module Urbanism. The thematic and structural modifications will be discussed on the level of three courses - Sustainable City (obligatory), Ecopolis (elective) and the final/graduation work (Thematic research, Master Thesis, Master Project studio), also considering their results and public outreach.
