Its study is characterized by diverse perspectives. The primary concern of urban morphology is urban form. The spatial layout is the realistic dimension of urban form, and is the tangible results of the social and economic transformation. To understand how the urban form overlap and fit into each other is of crucial importance (Whitehand, 2007). Thus how to deconstruct the urban form into the elements and to explore the relationships between the elements will serve to understand the mosaic of urban form.EnglishDeveloping an analysis framework of urban morphology studyConference paper96-105
