The research procedure is made up of three stages. The first stage involves the synthetic systematization of basic theoretical premises of integrated development planning, taking into account the differences in definitions and suggested approaches in the Polish literature. The second stage presents the selected examples of challenges regarding the operational use of this conception in planning practice in Poland.
