Abstract
TRANS-ADAPT project focuses on bottom-up initiatives to flood risk management w different from the mainstream flood risk management measures. Our hypothesis i pursued by local stakeholders, with the aim to address local problems or to se multi-functional use of land. TRANS-ADAPT explores what and who is behind these i out the motives and key aspects of multi-functional outcomes that are relevant fo The final objectives are to explore the possibilities for up-scaling and replica countries and outlining the institutional change required to facilitate local i the barriers and limitations of the current flood governance, the project aims framework. This framework will adapt the classical governance and design criteri flood risk management, providing operational indicators.
