dc.description.abstractThis paper focuses on residential neighborhoods that are located in or near the city center and characterized by a negative (external) image as a result of demographic, social and economic transitions. Using the case study of Würzburg-Zellerau as an example, it will explore approaches to improving a neighborhood's image with a view to enhancing quality of life and to identifying potentials as well as limiting and success factors.
