Participatory planning is regarded as an accelerator of sustainable development. However, it comes with its own set of challenges. In this paper, we study the challenges that are explicit in the case of Megacities. As they are more prominent in our current years, megacities form a large portion of their countries' population, not to mention they constitute an issue when combatting climate change. In the context of megacities, the analysis of the participation process requires a breakdown of the one factor which constitutes the biggest difference between its application in cities and megacities: the stakeholders and their extrapolation. Following this method, a solution for its implementation in megacities is proposed highlighting the use of digital tools and following the learnings from the city of "Vinnytsia" and applying them to the case of the megacity of "London".
